Shipping policy


If the item is in inventory it can take 1-3 days for your order to be processed. Processing time may vary depending on the volume of orders and the availability of the item at the time of processing your order.

If for any reason the purchased product is out of stock or it is made by special order, we will contact you to notify you about it and offer you another alternative. You have the option to cancel the product and continue with the rest of the order. If the product is out of stock and it will be in inventory again, keep in mind that the manufacturing time can vary significantly depending on the type of product and the complexity of manufacturing, the availability of the raw material and the Workshop creating the product.

In any case we will always keep in communication with the client about the status of their order.

Domestic Shipping: Puerto Rico and the United States

Domestic shipments are made with USPS with delivery confirmation (Tracking Number) for orders within Puerto Rico, the United States and Territories. You will be notified by email of the tracking number once your order has been processed, completed and shipped.

Priority or Express service
Expedited shipping is available upon request. This service depends on both the availability of the product and the flow of orders in the processing of your order. Please note that the Priority or Express Service is an exclusive Service of USPS and NOT of Mercado Boricua. Shipping times by USPS are NOT Guaranteed by Mercado Boricua.

International deliveries:
Due to the emergency situation with COVID-19, the USPS Postal Service has temporarily suspended the acceptance of international mail for certain destinations due to the service impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We recommend visiting the USPS page to confirm that the shipping service has not been interrupted for your country.

International shipments are made through USPS with delivery confirmation. You will be notified by email of the tracking number once your order has been processed, completed and shipped.

Please make sure your shipping address is CORRECT before shipping. We are NOT responsible for packages that do not arrive due to an incorrect or incomplete address. You will be responsible for the forwarding costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.

Shipping returned

If we receive any shipment returned by the shipping provider, an email notification will be sent to you letting you know that your package has been returned to our facility. If the package was returned by "INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS" by any wrong address you will be responsible for the costs of resending once we have confirmed the updated address with you.

If the package has been delivered to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for arranging with the Shipping Provider to retrieve the package.

Unclaimed shipments
If we have made a shipment that requires acknowledgment of receipt and this has not been claimed or could be delivered to its destination and it is returned to our offices and you will be responsible for the cost of resending the package.
